(Individuals fluent in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply.) The Minnesota Merit System establishes minimum qualifications for each type of position, based on education and experience, and administers testing for applicant. The names of individuals achieving a passing score are then listed on a Register for consideration when an opening occurs.
