  Mower County Health and Human Services
  Mower County Health and Human Services administers and implements County, State, and Federal laws, regulations, mandates and ordinances involving the promotion of healthy communities as well as prevention, early intervention, protection and self-sufficiency for children, families and adults.  The department is responsible for determining and addressing local public health needs as well as priorities, administration of all forms of public assistance, child support collection and enforcement, employment and training initiatives, child and adult protection and community social services for the developmentally disabled, elderly, mentally ill and chemical dependent.
