The Mower County Recorder provides protection and public notice by recording, indexing, maintaining and displaying records of legal documents and the issuance and updating of land title certificates.

The Recorder offers information to walk-in and telephone customers; in addition to offering access to recorded information via the internet. The County Recorder accepts for recording over 150 types of legal documents, most of which pertain to real estate or personal property. The office accepts for filing and issues copies of military discharges as well as state and federal tax liens. The office also maintains many indexes where one may research information by legal description, name or document number.

The Mower County Recorder's Office is open 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday - Friday (exclusive of major holidays)

How On-Line records can be accessed:

Laredo is a subscription-based internet access program designed for the real estate professional that needs daily access to land records.  There are five levels (based on per-minute usage) available for the user to choose which plan will most fit their needs.  If you are interested in subscribing to or would like more information about Laredo, please contact the Mower County Recorder's Office.  If you are a subscriber, you can download the client software from Fidlar directly via their website.

Tapestry 2 is an internet access program designed for the occasional real estate professional to search land records using a credit card.  Tapestry also offers access to other select counties in the Midwest.  Tapestry is a Fidlar owned internet service that allows searching of a clients information on a pay-as-you-go basis.  Click HERE to access the Tapestry 2 website.
