How secure E-Mail Works

When someone from Mower County sends you a Secure
E-Mail message, the message is sent to a secure data
center where it will be held for you to retrieve. At
the same time, a notification message is sent to you
to inform you that a Secure E-Mail message is
waiting to be retrieved. The notification message
will contain a link to a secure web site. Simply
click on the link, log into the secure web site, and
retrieve your message. Once logged in, you can read
your Secure E-Mail, download it to your computer, or
send a secure reply message.

Creating an Account -
|
The first time you use Secure E-Mail, you will be
prompted to create an account. Supply your email address
and password to establish your account. You will use
this password each time you log into Secure E-Mail. A
confirmation message will be sent to the email address
you entered. You will need to click the link in the
confirmation email to complete the account set up
process. You can now begin using your Secure E-Mail
account |

Sending a Secure Message - |
To send a Secure E-Mail message to us, click on the
Secure E-Mail link below. Click on the "Log In" area
where you'll be prompted to enter your email address and
password that you established. Once logged in, you can
create a new Secure E-Mail message by clicking on the
"Compose" tab.
