Please take notice that the Mower County Board of Commissioners shall hold a public hearing on May 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the County Boardroom, lower level of the Mower County Government Center, 201 1st Street NE, Austin, MN to receive comments from the public on the proposal to adopt an ordinance to repeal the ordinance that created “The Code of the County of Mower, Minnesota” and to itemize the ordinances in force in the County as of May 1, 2025 and as available on the Mower County website.
The Mower County Board of Commissioners has authorized county staff to proceed with a public process to adopt an ordinance to repeal the Ordinance adopted 1/27/1976 that established the book entitled "The Code of the County of Mower, Minnesota" that "revises and codifys, adopts and prints in book form" all the "special laws, ordinances, resolutions and rules in force in the County as of November 26, 1974". All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Those unable to attend are invited to send written comments prior to the hearing via mail or email to County Administration, 201 1st Street NE, Suite 9, Austin, MN 55912 mower.admin@co.mower.mn.us
