Mower County provides financial assistance through the Minnesota Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to parents who cannot afford child care. Parents receiving child care assistance may pay part of the child care cost based on income and family size. More information about the Minnesota Child Care Assistance Program can be found Here.
Apply for Assistance
To apply for child care assistance complete the Child Care Assistance Program Application and mail or drop it off at our office. You may also complete an application online at MNBenefits. If you need Child Care Assistance and are receiving Minnesota Family Investment Program or Diversionary Work Program, you may be able to complete a shortened version of the application. If your initial application for the Minnesota Family Investment Program or Diversionary Work Program was in the last 90, you can complete this addendum to apply for child care assistance.
